Donations
We are a 501(c)(3) organization, so your donation is tax deductible. All donors who give during a calendar year become Foundation Members and will receive our quarterly e-mail newsletter with updates on our progress and milestones.
Why donate?
- You are empowering the next generation of Sāmoans through education → Your donation directly equips young Samoan students with the tools they need to learn and thrive. By providing basic teaching materials and digital resources, you help enhance the quality of primary education. See our Goals page for the details on what we will provide with your help.
- We build local capacity for long-term impact → Investing in teacher training and teaching aids means your support doesn’t just help one class , it strengthens the year-to-year program at the Primary School. The teachers become better equipped to engage their students, adapt to new methods, and cover new topics.
- You are promoting digital inclusion in a connected world → In today’s world, digital literacy is essential. Your gift gives Sāmoan children access to modern technology and the skills to use it. This opens doors to global opportunities and helps prevent rural communities from being left behind in the digital age. Remember that information technology jobs can go to where the workers are.
Why donate to us? There are several important reasons
- We are hyper-local in our scope. We focus on one school until the needs are met. This approach makes it much easier to measure success.
- Two board members travel to Sāmoa periodically and can deliver items directly to the school
- Purchased materials will be sourced in Sāmoa whenever possible
- Our overhead is extremely low. No officer or board member receives compensation. We do not do mass mailings. Our only overhead should be the shipping costs of educational items and maintaining this website.
- The teachers list the needs and prioritize them. They know their students!

As an alternative to donating money, you can bid on donated artworks, where a portion or all of the proceeds goes to the Foundation. Auctioned works are in in two groups: one for buyers in the USA and one for buyers in the European Union.
